Evan & Mikayla
We're in love, and we'd like to make it official.
We’re getting married in Denver on Saturday, May 15, 2027, and we would love nothing more than to have you there with us.
The ceremony begins at 5:30 in the evening at Grant Humphreys Mansion. We plan to ring in our marriage with a cocktail or two (or many), fuel up with a feast, and disco the night away. We ask that you show up in your formal best and come ready to celebrate!
Below you'll find the story, the schedule, the details, and the people.
Love,
Evan & Mikayla
TWO SIDES OF THE SAME STORY
His
We were friends first.
I knew she was perfect, beautiful, etc. I took the slow and steady approach because, even then, I had a feeling this was something worth being careful with.
Hers
We were friends first.
I knew he was kind, smart, hilarious, and easy to be around. When he finally asked me out, it felt less like a surprise and more like something clicking into place.

GETTING HERE & STAYING CLOSE
We’re so grateful to everyone making the trip to celebrate with us. Here are the basics for getting to Denver and staying close to the festivities:
FLIGHTS
Fly into Denver International Airport.
Uber & Lyft are widely available, and the venue is a short drive from downtown.
ACCOMMODATIONS
We’ll update this section with booking information as soon as it’s available. In the meantime, we recommend looking near Capitol Hill, Cherry Creek, Downtown Denver, or RiNo if you’re a very, very, early planner.
MEET THE GANG
These are the people who have loved us, shaped us, hyped us up, talked us down, kept the group chats alive, and agreed to stand next to us while we make this whole thing official.
We are very lucky to have them.
TORI
Maid of Honor
Mikayla’s older sister, lifelong protector, and forever partner. Tori and Mikayla have spent their lives annoying each other, showing up for each other, and always making each other laugh until they can't breathe. There was never a version of this day where Tori wasn’t standing beside her.
MARIAH
Bridesmaid
One of Mikayla’s smartest, coolest, and funniest friends (and yes, she has a PhD, so this is peer-reviewed). Mikayla met Mariah while living in Salt Lake City, and she quickly became the kind of friend who makes life more fun, more beautiful, and infinitely better.
NICOLE
Bridesmaid
Nicole has been there for Mikayla through thick and thin. Seriously, the thinnest thin, for which she deserves a medal. She is loyal, hilarious, deeply loving, and can make you laugh even when life is being extremely rude.
MATT
Groomsman
Matt and Evan met at the University of Miami in physics class, then became teammates on the club baseball team. As two baseball-loving engineers, they have plenty in common, and their personalities balance each other out perfectly. He brings out the outgoing side of Evan, which is probably why their friendship has stuck since college.
Zack
Groomsman
Zack and Evan grew up together as cousins and childhood friends, spending plenty of time playing Roller Coaster Tycoon, bowling (Zack always brings the speed), and making up their own fun games. Zack is creative, quirky and their bond goes all the way back to the beginning.
FAQ
Can you elaborate on the wedding dress code?
Formal attire requested. Think suits, tuxes, long dresses, dresses, elevated cocktail dresses, and pieces that feel polished and celebratory.
The ceremony and cocktail hour are planned to be outdoors, so we recommend shoes that can handle a little lawn terrain. Denver evenings can cool down, so a layer is never a bad idea. There will be space to check your coats.
Do I get a plus one?
If your invitation includes one, we’d love for them to join.
Are kids allowed?
We love your little ones, but we’ve decided to keep our wedding celebration adult-only. The only children in attendance will be those included in the ceremony. Thank you for understanding.
Are any of the events outdoor?
Yes. The ceremony and cocktail hour are planned to be outdoors, weather permitting.
What time should I arrive?
Please plan to arrive 15 - 20 minutes before the ceremony so you have time to settle in before we begin.
THE REGISTRY
Your presence is more than enough, truly. We know many of you are traveling, taking time away, and making plans to celebrate with us, and that means the world.
If you would still like to give a gift, we’ve linked a few options below as we start building this next chapter together.
